Impact base & infill
Black rubber granules for resilient bases, layered rubber surfaces and specified infill applications. Select the particle size against the intended system, not simply the product name.
Potential applications include EPDM flooring systems, running tracks, jogging tracks, football infill, turf infill and rubber flooring. Suitability must be confirmed against the particular flooring or turf specification, binder and installation method.
A surface-base specification and a turf-infill specification are not interchangeable. Ask the system or turf supplier to confirm the required grading and material documentation.
The listed sizes are 1-3mm, 1-4mm and 5-8mm. These describe particle-size ranges, not installed layer thicknesses. The selected grading affects how a material is handled within its intended system; do not substitute a size without checking the specification.
For a coloured layered surface, review EPDM granules for the visible wear layer alongside the proposed base.
State whether the material is for a bound base, track system or loose infill. Provide the specified grading, quantity or measured area, location and intended use. Ask for the documentation your project requires, particularly for sensitive environments or regulated sports installations.
If you only know the site area, send the proposed system details so a material estimate can be prepared. Area alone cannot establish the quantity without a confirmed depth and build-up.
