Heavy-Duty Rubber Mats

Dense modular rubber mats for planning weights and equipment zones. Compare the mat format, thickness and supporting floor together, rather than treating thickness as a complete performance specification.

Format
500 x 500mm & 1000 x 1000mm
Thickness / build-up
15mm & 25mm

Specify the activity, not just the room

Identify where equipment is stationary and where weights may be dropped. Give the supplier the type of weights, typical use and any restrictions imposed by the building. A floor finish does not establish the structural capacity of a slab.

If noise or vibration transfer is a concern, a site-specific build-up may be needed. Ask what evidence supports a proposed acoustic or impact claim; do not assume a particular result from a 15mm or 25mm label.

Compare size and installation details

The range includes 500 x 500mm and 1000 x 1000mm formats, with 15mm and 25mm thickness options. Confirm the available size-and-thickness combination for your order. Larger modules change handling and joint layout; smaller modules may suit more divided spaces.

Include perimeter restraint, door clearances, ramps or transitions, existing finishes and delivery access in the brief. Confirm the fixing method after the substrate has been reviewed.

A practical quotation brief

Send a floor plan or dimensions, wide and close-up site photos, location, equipment details and an intended installation date. Separate heavy-use zones from general training space to compare an appropriate mix of materials.

For general exercise areas, also review interlock mats. Keep spare replacement modules from the same order where colour and texture consistency matter.
